Welcome to the SouthEast Seattle Senior Center (SESSC), a nonprofit organization serving Seattle’s Rainier Valley and surrounding neighborhoods. Chef Corday’s Thanksgiving

Date: Thursday, November 23

Time: 12–3 pm

Please Join Us For A Gathering Of Family & Friends to Celebrate Chef Corday’s Thanksgiving. Menu: Slow Roasted Turkey, Baked Ham with Pineapple, Southern Dressing and Gravy, Candied Yams, Mixed Greens, Mac N Cheese, Cornbread, Homemade Cranberry Sauce & Sweet Potato Pie. Rainbow Bingo

Date: Friday, December 8

Time: 6–9 pm

This zany and silly fundraiser is back! A FUN night of games, pandemonium, prizes — all to raise money for the SESSC. Dazzle us with your presence!!

Of course, Rainbow Bingo would not be what it is without the incredible entertainment of Louvel @louvelsmells and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Plus, dinner, beer, wine, and Jell-O shots!

Activities

Our Center offers services and activities that appeal to our members’ diverse needs and interests, enhance their dignity, and support their independence. (Check out our photo gallery!) We offer daily fitness classes that address different physical fitness levels. Plus, we have an extensive offering of educational programs and excursions. Volunteering

Contribute your energy and expertise by helping to make our Center an inviting space! From volunteer positions in our office and kitchen to becoming a Board member, we offer a variety of ways to give back as one of our volunteers. Check out our volunteer opportunities for people of all ages.

Community Dining

Meals for Seniors - Hot lunch, Monday thru Friday, at the SouthEast Seattle Senior Center

A warm, nutritious lunch is waiting for you at the Center! Made from scratch with healthy ingredients by our Chef, each meal is prepared with the special dietary needs of seniors in mind. Available Monday through Friday, starting at noon. Learn more about our Community Dining.

Meal Delivery

The Center delivers meals that are specially crafted to deliver great taste, heat-and-eat convenience, and quality nutrition right to your doorstep. Our meal delivery program is available only to aging adults who qualify. Please contact (206) 722-0317 for more information.

Senior Resources

Looking for support for an aging parent? Our senior resources include social work support and assistance with programs that address the concerns of older adults and their caregivers.
